MANDATORY FUNDRAISER (Spring Season Only) - To help keep costs down MPB has a mandatory league fundraiser, a Hit-A-Thon. You will be given an option of paying $40 to opt out of the fundraiser, or you are agreeing to participate and meet the minimum per-player requirement of $50 raised. Participation for Colt players is instead a requirement to assist in running the Hit-A-Thon for a minimum of 3 hours. Failing to opt-out OR meet participation requirements may result in any or all of the following: No Closing Day Carnival wristband; No end-of-season awards; Unable to participate in post season games; Unable to select not to opt-out in future registrations; Unable to register in future seasons. PAYMENT - Payment must be made before registration is complete. Registration fees must be completely paid before player can be placed onto a team. Payment processing fees go to our payment service, not to the league, and is non-refundable.

AGE VERIFICATION / BIRTH CERTIFICATES (MANDATORY) - Menifee Pony requires age verification for completion of registration process. A copy of the child's birth certificate can be uploaded during the registration process. PROOF OF AGE IS MANDATORY with MPB.
RESIDENCY - Menifee Pony players are only required to live in Riverside County.

PLAYER ASSESSMENTS - Assessments are REQUIRED in Spring for all divisions from Pinto-KP thru Colt divisions (Filly/T-Ball, Shetland & Pinto-MP do not assess). Player Assessments are on the 1st or 2nd Saturday of January. Watch out on our website and Facebook page for dates, times and locations. -- NOTE: COMPLETE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN PLAYER ASSESSMENTS & TO BE PLACED ONTO A TEAM. VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS (STATE LAW) - California's Child Protection Law (AB-506) requires most volunteers of youth sports organizations to complete a (free) Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Training Course as well as a Live Scan Background Check. All Asst Coaches and Managers MUST complete both requirements BEFORE they can participate in coaching activities or be on the field with the kids at any time, even if as just a one-time substitute coach.
