Menifee Pony Baseball is committed to ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent a child from participating in the league. This policy establishes a formal process for providing confidential financial assistance to qualifying families on a case by case basis.
All Player Assistance Program applications, awards and recipient information are strictly confidential. Information is limited to the Player Assistance Program Subcommittee and Treasurer only. No Player Assistance Program information shall be shared with the full board or made public under any circumstances.
The Player Assistance Program is available to any registered or prospective Menifee Pony Baseball player whose family demonstrates financial need. Eligibility is determined on a case by case basis at the sole discretion of the Player Assistance Program Subcommittee. There is no guarantee of award.
Families seeking financial assistance must complete the league’s Player Assistance Program application form and submit it to the Treasurer. The form will request basic information sufficient to assess need. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Submission of an application does not guarantee an award.
The Player Assistance Program may cover all or part of the registration fee at the subcommittee’s discretion. All mandatory fundraising requirements may or may not remain in place for Player Assistance Program recipients and may or may not be waived or reduced as part of any award. Recipients are asked to contribute volunteer hours during the season in a role such as team parent, event volunteer or other league support function. The specific volunteer expectation will be communicated to the recipient at the time of award.
